Eight Black Executive Transport is a small, independent ground transportation company owned by Simon Chen.
Simon is Australian and has lived in Colorado for four years. Prior to moving to the US, Simon and his family were based in Singapore. He has spent the past 15-years consulting with technology companies across Asia Pacific and the US and has held several senior management positions for large multinationals.
He understands the demands that travel places on the busy executive – given that during his career he logged in excess of 4 million miles in the air. He was a customer and user of many “black” car services and instinctively knows what clients want and what they need.
Simon has a passion for driving and all things car related. Simon taught part time for 15 years for Australia’s largest and most respected Advanced Driver Training company.
You can tell from the company’s late model vehicles, which are meticulously cleaned and maintained, that Simon takes great pride in his work. The company regards itself as a dependable and high-quality affiliate, already handling more than one hundred trips per month for another Denver-based car service operator, as well as looking after a very loyal and rapidly expanding private client base.
In September 2016, they acquired a small mountain operator, Alpenglow Express. Terms of the acquisition are undisclosed.

In January 2017, they started a local Shuttle Operation out of Longmont, which is where the company is located. The launch of Longmont Shuttle was a direct result of Super Shuttle abandoning the Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and Longmont markets. In a short space of time, the local Longmont market has responded in overwhelming fashion regarding the quality and efficiency of the shuttle service.
