Eight Black Executive Transport is a rapidly growing, independent ground transportation company based in Colorado.
Eight Black Executive Transport is an independently owned Longmont based, ground transportation business spanning Colorado’s Front Range. Our highly personalized solutions serves to remove the regular stresses of traveling to and from the airport – traffic congestion, the high premiums of lot parking, not to mention the time it takes out of your busy schedule.
When you ride with Eight Black, you’ll experience premium Mercedes sedans (we use both the E300 and S550 sedans), Mercedes MPVs (small passenger vans), or one of our long-wheelbase 6-7 seat Lincoln Navigators. Along with our premium amenities, which include: high speed WiFi, refrigerated coolers fully stocked with beer and wine, ceramic tint to maximize privacy and protection, and mandatory Nokian or Blizzak winter tires in winter conditions, you can be sure our team leave nothing to chance and that our mission is to provide you with the most complete experience possible.
You can tell from the company’s late model vehicles, which are meticulously cleaned and maintained, that the Eight Black team takes great pride in their work. We have become the company of choice for many Fortune 500 companies with a presence in the Denver area.
In September 2016, Eight Black acquired a small mountain operator, Alpenglow Express. Terms of the acquisition are undisclosed.

In January 2017, the company started a local Shuttle Operation out of Longmont, which is where the company is located. The launch of Longmont Shuttle was a direct result of Super Shuttle abandoning the Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and Longmont markets and essentially leaving many customers high and dry. In less that 2-weeks, Longmont Shuttle was launched, and the local Longmont market has responded in overwhelming fashion regarding the quality and efficiency of the shuttle service.

In December of 2018, the company moved again and acquired another Denver based ground transportation business, A Absolute Limousine.
Simon Chen, Director
Simon is Australian and has lived in Colorado for six years. Prior to moving to the US, Simon and his family were based in Singapore. He has spent the past 15-years consulting with technology companies across Asia Pacific and the US and has held several senior management positions for large multinationals.
He understands the demands that travel places on the busy executive – given that during his career he logged in excess of 6 million miles in the air. He was a customer and user of many “black” car services and instinctively knows what clients want and what they need.
Simon has a passion for driving and all things car related. Simon taught part time for 15 years for Australia’s largest and most respected Advanced Driver Training company. His motto is “safety before schedule” and one look at the Eight Black fleet will tell you that safety is never compromised.
Bryn Long, Compliance Director
Bryn moved to Longmont in October 2017 from Dallas, Texas. Bryn retired from working in the legal field for 33 years, primarily in the area of business litigation. He worked for various sized law firms, including the world’s largest law firm – Baker and McKenzie. In the past, Bryn was considering starting an executive car company in Texas to transfer attorneys to court, depositions and meetings in the long distances in Texas, so they could work while being driven.
In December 2017 as Bryn was concluding work on a trial with his former law firm, he was traveling to/from Texas, when he caught a ride with Simon and began discussions as a new retiree what it would be like to have the side gig of driving for Eight Black. He has been driving for the company since January 2018.
With his legal background and work in areas of information gathering and organizing, it was a simple choice to appoint Bryn as the Director of Compliance. He is responsible for all compliance issues as it relates to working with the various federal and state transportation agencies, managing our insurance exposure and ensuring the back office runs as efficiently as possible.
Erica Rebeterano, Customer Service Manager
Erica has an extensive career in customer service and is responsible for all customer facing aspects of the business, including managing our customer service and dispatch team, driver liaison, and managing a rapidly growing and dynamic schedule.
She has the added task of also ensuring the integration of the recently acquired companies goes as smoothly as possible.
The business has blossomed under Ericas guidance and we are lucky to have her leading the CS team. Her attitude, positive outlook and constant smile is infectious.
Dan Devine, Fleet Manager
Dan has been in Colorado for most of his adult life and has traveled to virtually every corner of the state. Prior to joining Eight Black, Dan worked for a major towing company in Silverthorne where he operated heavy rescue salvage rigs. Dan is passionate about driving, loves cars and has probably more experience than anyone on the team when it comes to driving in the mountains. Dan is responsible for ensuring the rapidly expanding fleet of Eight Black vehicles is meticulously maintained, that drivers have the safety equipment they need at all times and that our training and record keeping is always up to date.
